Salmon & Herbed Quinoa Bowl
Golden salmon served over herbed quinoa with lemon, olive oil, soft herbs, and a clean citrus finish — nourishing, elegant, and quietly luxurious.
This bowl is designed to feel polished without becoming complicated. The quinoa is folded with herbs, lemon, olive oil, and a little shallot for brightness, while the salmon is cooked until tender in the center with a softly golden exterior. The result is clean, satisfying, and elegant enough for a private lunch or relaxed dinner.
Method
Pat salmon dry and season with sea salt, black pepper, lemon zest, and a light coating of olive oil.
Cook salmon in a warm pan for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the outside is golden and the center stays tender.
Fluff quinoa with a fork, then fold in shallot, parsley, dill, optional mint or chives, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the herbed quinoa into a shallow bowl and place the salmon on top while still warm.
Add a final drizzle of olive oil, cracked black pepper, fresh herbs, and a squeeze of lemon. Add capers or toasted seeds if using.
Serving Suggestion
- Serve warm or room temperature in a shallow ceramic bowl.
- Add extra lemon on the side for brightness.
- Finish with soft herbs and olive oil just before serving.
